Iâm Jessica
Iâm a Michigan native, a road tripper, a book reader, a coffee drinker, and a not-so-great skier.
I live with my family (husband + 3 kids) in Ridgefield, CT.
I picked up a âbig cameraâ over a decade ago, and havenât wanted to part from it since.
I know that life with a young family is exhilarating â and exhausting. And little kids donât stay little for long. Those little dimples, the soft sweet cheeks, and even those crazy first grade teeth? Theyâre worth preserving for the long term with beautiful photographs.
When Iâm not taking pictures, youâll generally find me destroying my kitchen with ill-fated family baking sessions, building elaborate Lego creations with my first grader, dreaming up far-flung travel plans, and searching for overdue library books.
I feel awkward in pictures sometimes,
But you shouldnât have to.
With coaching, prompting, and a photographer who can put your whole group at ease, a photography session doesnât have to be painful. In fact, it can actually be fun.
My kids act up during photoshoots.
Yours probably will, too.
In the course of photographing hundreds of families, Iâve worked with perfectly behaved kids approximately twice. Babies cry. Toddlers pout. Preschoolers run wild.
But I have extensive experience with managing photoshoots with both children and adults in such a way that youâll be surprised (and thrilled!) at how many amazing shots weâll get. It takes careful planning, posing, and know-how to create beautiful portraits, but with me you can take a deep breath and know youâll receive pictures youâll always treasure.
