Studio newborn photography sessions, on the other hand, are shot in my Ridgefield, CT studio with professional lighting and curated props, allowing for more detailed posing and timeless, artistic portraits. Plus, no tidying up your home beforehand!

Sessions run 60–90 minutes, with plenty of time built in for feeding, soothing, and diaper changes. Newborns set the pace!

Two things make the biggest difference: Turn off overhead lights and open your curtains, and do a quick tidy-up — make the beds and hide the clutter. When I arrive, I'll do a walkthrough to find the best natural light spots in your home.
